Using a point cloud from laser scanning as an exact base of 3D data for modeling, elements are placed in the model based on data captured by the scanning process. All of the important architectural data such as walls, doors, windows, beam, columns, and finishes are modeled as they were in the 3d point cloud. The visual data such as exterior finishing materials also modeled in the software to provide a great starting point for the renovation project.
Already have accurate documentation of the building in AutoCAD or PDF format? We can convert CAD or PDF files to Revit models. Revit software allows Architects to model a building structure and components in 3D, including drafted details from 2D plans, and access building information from the model’s database. By using this model, the architect can have the right perception of the existing condition of the building.
